In meditation, it is possible to dive deeper and deeper into the mind to a place where there is no disturbance and there is absolute solitude. It is at this point in the profound stillness that the sound of the mind can be heard. It is like the sea breaking off a far off reef, and it lulls the being into extreme calm........When I listen to the sound of this sea, I sense that I am a voyager and this sound is a wind in the sails of a ship. This sound is not of this world....it speaks of unknown powers, of cosmic storms. This is no earthly voyage, and I see visions of ships that sail on no earthly sea. Our ships sail on upon a silent sea, no wind, there is no sound, but we move on"
A.E.I Falconar
"Come to the edge he said. They said we are afraid. Come to the edge he said. They came. He pushed them, and they flew"
Guillame Appollinaire
To hope is to risk disappointment.
But risks must be taken, because the greatest risk in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing, does nothing, sees nothing, has nothing, and is nothing.
He cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love and live.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.
- a Return to Love - Marianne Williamson

The following poem ‘Be With me’ was written by a relative of mine, called Gertrude Button, who died in the 1970’s, having reached 100 years of age, 60 years of which were as a strict vegetarian! For many years she worked as a Matron in a cottage hospital in Surrey – indeed her life was devoted to nursing, having never married, like many from a generation who lived through world war.
I have known for some time that she watches over the work that I now do, having had various signs and messages. The other day I came across a picture of her as a very old lady holding me as a baby (she died when I was 7). In this photograph of the two of us there is a large picture of two angels hanging on her wall just above us. I see it as one of many subliminal messages sent years before I was even aware that my future (like her life) lies in healing.
Here is one of her poems, in time I intend to publish more in a book.
Be With Me
Come to me in the morning, when the dawn breaks over the hill.
When the sun shines up from the river, and all the world is still
Come in thy wondrous beauty, and give me strength for the day
And the mists that gathered at even, shall melt with the moon away
Come to me in the noontide when the midday sun shines hot
When strong is my own self confidence, I need thee and know it not
When life is so full of radiance, and I’m high in the favour of men.
In the hour of my wealth dear Jesus, be with me, and save me then
Come to me in the evening when the stars glimmer out from the blue
When the heat of the day is over, may I still find some work I can do
For many are sad and need cheering, and others have lost their way
Then come to me Lord and bring me some useful work I pray
And stay with me Lord, when the night settles down, and the day is over and past
When my life of happy work is done, and I close my eyes at last
Then fold me close in thy strong embrace, and flush from my heart every fear
And grant that the dear ones I’ve loved on earth
May be waiting to great me there
Gertrude Button
